Queer Awareness Week!

Queer Awareness Week is almost here!

***Out on Campus is located on the territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and Stó:lō nations. These territories give us life thanks to the care taking work done by these nations since time immemorial. ***

What’s intersectionality got to do with it? Join us for a multi-media presentation facilitated by Love Intersections. We will hear from Jen Sungshine, David Ng, Andy Holmes, Kimberly Wong and Jane Agyekum. This event will include film screenings and discussion about the importance of intersectionality in queer community as well as how we can incorporate feminist perspectives into anti-oppression work. More about Love Intersections can be found here.

Leave your hate at the gate and bring your creativity! Come for an afternoon of queer crafting in a safer space hosted by Out On Campus. This is an opportunity to build community and individual expression. We will be making zines, buttons, bracelets/beading, and we will have sewing supplies to make your own crafts!
